Members of the clergy are welcome to visit patients who are members of their particular religious group at any time at the discretion of the unit physician or nurse. PA, offers a wide range of pediatric outpatient specialty medical and surgical. Children of all ages are permitted to visit with residents of the Community Living Center. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. When approved by the physician or nurse, inpatients may visit with younger children in the waiting room in the main lobby. Visitors may not bring food or beverages to patients without authorization from unit physicians or nurses.Ĭhildren under age 15 may visit inpatients when permission has been granted by the unit physician or nurse. Veterans can have visitors, but they must be approved for visitation. We do not have an open visitation for all at the Dom at the current time.

All visitors for Veterans must be approved by the treatment team. The Domiciliary (Dom) allows visitors on Saturdays and Sundays during the daylight tour.

Outside of the clinic, Tish enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, trying out new restaurants to eat, as well as traveling to tropical climates. Tish is motivated and dedicated in using the most appropriate and evidence based treatments to facilitate a full recovery. She is able to treat a variety of female and male conditions, including pelvic pain, tailbone pain, incontinence, diastisis recti, and prenatal and postpartum care. Most recently, Tish has received specialized training in the treatment and education of women’s and men’s pelvic health issues. She has also participated in the Illinois Bone & Joint Institute running clinics. Tish is an active member of the IBJI sports medicine group being a former Division 1 volleyball athlete, she enjoys working with all types of athletes. Tish enjoys treating a variety of diagnoses including shoulders, ACLs, hips, knees and feet both surgical and non-surgical. Also in 2018, she became a member of the advisory board for the PTA curriculum at Oakton Community College. Tish started the “IBJI Rehab Social Committee,” which is used to enhance the social environment of the workplace and promote cross clinic camaraderie/interdepartmental connection. From basic blood work to more complex testing and treatment demands, BHS has the clinical laboratory facilities, equipment and professionally trained staff to handle a broad range of needs. In 2016, she was named the PTA Site Coordinator of Continuing Education (SCCE) in charge of the placement of Physical Therapist Assistant students into their clinical rotations. Lab Services BHS Laboratory services provides the convenience of having testing done locally and the assurance of high-quality and personal service. She has been in various supervisor roles within IBJI, including the Assistant Facility Manager at the Avondale Clinic. She worked at the Glenview location for 6 years and has now been at the Avondale location for 8 years. She has been practicing since 2009 at Illinois Bone & Joint Institute.
